The Strategic Workshop on the Panoramic Digital Life Big Science Initiative

On April 21, 2026, the "Strategic Seminar on the Panoramic Digital Life International Grand Scientific Project" was held at Peking University. This event aimed to lay a solid ideological foundation and gather cooperative forces for China to take the lead in implementing this international grand scientific project.

Zhou Dazhong, Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Informationization of the Ministry of Education, and Zou Hui, Deputy Director of the same department, Guo Lan Tao, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Beijing Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park Management Committee, Xu Xinchao, Party Secretary of the Haidian District Committee, Secretary of the District Government, Vice Mayor of Haidian District, Deputy Party Secretary of the Zhongguancun Science City Party Committee (and also the Director of the Zhongguancun Science City Party Committee), and Xuancheng District Deputy Mayor, attended the meeting.

Representatives from top domestic research institutions, universities, hospitals, industries, charitable organizations, and news media participated in the event to discuss the blueprint for the cutting-edge development in the field of digital life.

Ten institutions, including relevant research institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, and Wuhan University, signed a cooperation memorandum with Peking University, marking the official entry of the Panoramic Digital Life International Grand Scientific Project into the substantive implementation stage.
